We Never Left the Basics
South Haven Christian School never left the basics. Since 1986, we have been watching children have fun while learning the BASICS - reading, writing, and arithmetic - and MUCH MORE! Other schools may be trying to come back to the basics, but we never left!

We Teach Reading in Kindergarten
At South Haven Christian School, even our five-year-olds learn to read in our enjoyable program. Beginning with letters and sounds, they progress to reading words, sentences, and stories in their own reading books. The children bring home each book as they finish it and enjoy it over and over again.

Get Your Child Off to a Good Start
Besides learning to read in Kindergarten, your child will develop skills that will help give him a head start in the elementary grades. These basic skills are reinforced in the elementary grades, thus enabling your child to progress to the junior high and high school levels. Your child will also develop good habits and social skills through daily experience.
