1) To EVANGELIZE CHILDREN by helping church leaders with the ideas, promotional tools, and effective ways of reaching children with the gospel. 2) To DISCIPLE CHILDREN includes teaching leaders what significant discipleship is, how to implement it in a practical way, and providing tools to get it done. 3) To TEACH CHILDREN God's Holy Word, carefully, both in lesson, memory, and in life style. Projects will motivate children to "live out" the truth that is taught. Leaders must role model their teaching and preaching. 4) To TRAIN CHILDREN how to serve the Lord, based upon their characteristics and their capabilities. The goal is to do now what the child is capable of doing, and to instill into them that the opportunities abound to serve the Lord in some ministry role as a lifetime pursuit. 5) To PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES in the church for children to serve the Lord in a very meaningful way. To teach and encourage local leaders to train the children to function in some ministry. To provide multiple opportunities that would include all those who are willing to serve.
The Master Club childrens ministry is the highlight for hundreds of children each week during the school year. They look forward to the activities, Bible time, games and preaching. The Master Club at South Haven is an ideal place for your child to be challenged spiritually
"I noticed several changes on the Primary Award Placement Guide. I started my child's vest last year and now her badges are on the wrong side. What should I do?" This is a difficult question to answer because it all depends upon how many badges you already have on the vest. The 2003 version of the Award Placement Guide for the Primary vest was designed using a larger vest than many of our first graders would wear. This new design can be used on a vest as small as a child's medium; the badges will have extra space around them on a larger vest, but the same pattern may be used. You should not have to purchase a new vest and start over with a clean vest. If you have a picture of the old Placement Sheet which showed the attendance stars on the opposite side of the vest, we recommend that you leave the stars, membership badges, and trail bars as they appeared on the old guide and follow the new pattern as closely as possible for the other badges. We regret this inconvenience, but the change was necessary.

"My 5 Year Old son has some badges he earned in the Little Lambs class last year that are not on this vest. What should I do with those badges?" Beginning August of 2004, we now have new Beginner Project Books which are in full color! Many enhancements have been made to those books, which made it necessary to delete some of the older badges and add some new ones. You should not have to purchase a new vest and start over with a clean vest. For this year, please follow the instructions for the Special Occasion Badges and add the badges not pictured on the new guide (or used in the new book) to the back of the vest.
